Besides God Himself and humanity, what living thing is mentioned most in Scripture? As our guest on the BreakPoint Podcast Matthew Sleeth points out, the answer is “trees.” From the tree of life to the first Psalm, to the tree on which Christ was nailed, trees play an enormous role in the Scriptures—a role we modern Christians have largely forgotten. And, according to Sleeth, trees tell us a lot about God Himself.
