Chuck Colson and Mark Earley Recognized at NRB

Chuck Colson and Mark Earley each received high honors at the recent convention of the National Religious Broadcasters.

On February 27, The Point with Mark Earley was recognized as the NRB Radio Program of the Year (Short Form):

Mark EarleyThe Point with Mark Earley strives to transform the hearts and minds of their listeners by teaching them to apply a biblical standard of thinking to every area of their lives,” said NRB President & CEO Dr. Frank Wright. “As a result, their audience understands that faith should impact every aspect of life and culture.”

The Point with Mark Earley is a daily, one-minute commentary produced by Prison Fellowship Ministries, featured on radio and at PFM’s BreakPoint blog. The Point is the overflow of the ministry’s deep belief that faith applies to all of life.

The NRB Program of the Year Award (Short Form) is presented to a radio program less than five minutes in length that impacts the listener by being compelling, relevant, informative, personable, and entertaining, while demonstrating an authentic Christian faith. (NRB)


And on March 2, Colson will be given NRB's highest honor, the Hall of Fame Award.

The National Religious Broadcasters Hall of Fame stands as a witness for current communicators, a showcase of warriors for Christ who live exemplary lives of valor and compassion, blazing trails and leaving paths for succeeding generations to follow. NRB's most prestigious award is presented to an individual NRB member for invaluable contribution to the field of Christian communications, exhibition of the highest standards and evidence of faithfulness in Christ.
