The Stewardship Council was founded in May 2005 in response to literally hundreds of requests for resources on stewardship––resources that transcend culture and equip Christians around the world for the high calling of stewardship of all God has entrusted to our care. These requests come from pastors and ministry leaders serving throughout developing countries around the world.
The Stewardship Council seeks to cause Christians to view their lives in light of the economy of God and our service in light of the profound privilege of serving as His stewards. Our mission is to produce and creatively deliver resources fostering effective Biblical stewardship; exposing God's perfect design for life.
The NIV Stewardship Study Bible is the flagship resource of the Stewardship Council, a leader in holistic stewardship education.
