Better balanced than I might have guessed, but certainly had the tone of pushing for egalitarianism.

Too bad. Those first forays of feminism, such as "Outside the pulpit, women took the lead in the great Victorian moral crusades" were disasters. I agree the Church shouldn't erase those from the history books...it should put an exclamation point by them of why egalitarisnism is catastrophic.
