I listened to attorney Ted Olson talk about his position in favor of repealing Prop 8 on Fox News Sunday. He over and over again articulated that it was the homosexual's "right" to marry. This is the old tactic of making this a civil rights issue.

What became clear to me was that there is a presupposition underlying the foundation of his argument. He is presupposing that it is the homosexual's "sexual orientation" that makes them practice homosexuality. The simple fact of the matter is that there is not one shred of scientific evidence to support that presupposition.

He also indicated that "protecting" this "right" of homosexuals to marry was good for our society. Again, the blatant disregard of facts is blinding. Historically, there has never been a civilization that has openly supported homosexuality as a "norm" that has stood the test of time. The fact is that historical civilizations condoning homosexuality have had one common outcome - demise.
