"I, even I, am he that comforteth you: who art thou, that thou shouldest be afraid of a man that shall die, and of the son of man which shall be made as
grass;" and 41:10 "Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am
thy God: I will strengthen thee;
yea, I will help thee; yea, I will
uphold thee with the right hand of
my righteousness.
11 Behold, all they that were
incensed against thee shall be
ashamed and confounded: they shall
be as nothing; and they that strive
with thee shall perish".
Victory is what we should be praying for
over these 40 days !
In spite of Obama's spin. or maybe because of it, I see America and Christians taking Christ to the Streets once again and most people are seeing our president as a Poor Example of whatever religion he is pretending to be.
Chuck - try my site if you want to know what happens to America at the rapture, that is a consolation for me that there won't be much left for Islam to want after June 2017. Gary Keasler. Silver Lake Ohio (call me if you want - 330 319-5061)

I believe you meant: "freedom of religion for some, and freedom of worship for others"

I think Mr. Nelson (above) identifies a cogent point in this administration"s embrace of moral relativism and post-modern humanism. Naturally, such thinking negates right and wrong and allows equivocation on any point. Therein, the Obama administration has demonstrated an undeniable propensity to react to situations without first applying thought and good judgment. Needless to say, it is axiomatic that someone lacking moral values will have a very difficult time making value judgments. Hence we can expect the poor judgments seen in the Professor Gates/Cambridge police and the Shirely Sherrod incidents, the Gulf oil spill incompetence and confusion, the moral bankruptcy of the White House's rhetoric on Israeli settlements issue and many more you could name.
I suggest the confusion in the Obama message on the issue of religion vs. worship can be expected from this administration even without a hidden agenda. They are simply morally lost and act like it. At the same time, I do believe that there is an overarching anti-Christian pro Muslim agenda as policy in the White House either due to their pathetic embrace of political correctness, the Muslim influence of Obama's upbringing under 2 Muslim fathers his years in a Muslim school, his belief in Black Liberation Theology, his Marxist disdain for an America which he has to know is founded in the Judeo-Christain Bible, or maybe it is just plain "Obamalike" incompetence. But whatever his intent or message may be on this subject, it has effectively engendered more confusion and less clarity on his position. Kind of like his stated economic policies.
You requested feedback on today's message. I think you have it half right in your 3rd possibility.
You stated the 3rd possibility as "the President was seeking to reassure Muslims that they can practice their religion here, but that he isn’t advocating that Muslims give freedom of religion to others in their countries." I think this is correct.
The other half of the answer is that the Administration is intentionally trying to restrict Christians to private "worship"... as a means to advance a broader liberal agenda.
In a postmodern world the administration can broadcast distinctively different messages to different audiences... because (to them) there is no absolute truth. (I would have thought you of all people would know this!)
Keep up the great work and God bless you.
