Remember when Elijah ran off into the wilderness and proclaimed that he was alone was left to serve God? He should have known better. The day before the entire nation watched God visibly win what wasn’t much of a contest with Baal on Mt.Carmel. But it’s easy to forget the big picture in the midst of physical threats, cultural confusion, and personal exhaustion, isn’t it?

For the past several years, I’ve worked with a program that reminds me of the big picture. The Centurions was founded by Chuck Colson to train leaders in Christian worldview. Each year, 100 new leaders study the implications of the Gospel for our culture under the guidance of Chuck, T. M. Moore and a faculty of top-level theological instructors. These Centurions join the over 700 Centurions who are working to apply a Christian worldview in their spheres of influence. In fact, it’s more than a program; it’s a movement to turn things right side up again. Should you be a Centurion? Come to thePointRadio.org for more information. I’m John Stonestreet.
