Life Is In the Majority

Just under two decades ago, Americans overwhelmingly supported abortion. But according to new research from Gallup, those statistics have nearly reversed.

Today, just 41 percent of Americans consider themselves “pro-choice,” — the lowest since Roe v. Wade. That means that for only the second time ever, the majority of Americans now identify themselves as “pro-life.”

A lot of different people deserve credit here, but none more than pregnancy care centers. Rather than denouncing abortion, they have answered one of the big reasons abortion was legalized – who’s going to take care of these women in unwanted pregnancies? These care centers say, “We will.”  And now, they outnumber abortion clinics in the U.S. nearly 2 to 1.

You can help too. Visit out our friends at Care Net — whom Chuck Colson worked closely with for years. Then come to thePointRadio.org to pick up a copy of Scott Klusendorf’s incredible book, “The Case for Life.” It’ll teach you how to win even more hearts and minds on this vital issue. I’m John Stonestreet.
