Randall Hardman

bio-hardmanRandy Hardman is the founder and former director of Ratio Christi: Student Apologetics Alliance. He now serves as their director of chapter development. From the spring of 2008 to the spring of 2009 he served as the president and director of Ratio Christi: ASU Chapter in Boone, N.C. He currently lives in Wilmore, Kentucky. He holds a bachelor of arts in philosophy and religion from Appalachian State University and is currently finishing work on a master of arts in biblical studies from Asbury Theological Seminary. Randy has served with Summit Ministries (East) from 2007 to 2010 as a counselor and recently served as their classroom director. He continues to serve with them as a Summit Ministries Ambassador and will be returning as classroom director for 2011. He also serves as the college pastor for Great Commission Fellowship in Wilmore, Kentucky.

Randy has a unique approach toward ministry by attempting to be both culturally relative and biblically literate in his engagement with the world. He believes that for too long the church has either neglected Christian fundamentals for the sake of trendiness or has rejected the culture for the sake of hard-lined dogma. These are needless sacrifices. The church must no longer be a closed up reservoir; rather, it must pour out in a missional and interactive sense the glory and love of God to a world which has been neglected.

Randy is available to speak at churches, schools, and other events on a wide range of issues relating to Christian apologetics. Aside from academics, he plays guitar and bass, enjoys hiking outdoors, and is an avid Green Bay Packer’s fan.
