A Quest to Become a God

In this short bit of poetry entitled Human Pride, Karl Marx clearly shows his hatred of his fellow man and proclivity toward becoming a god.
Then I will wander godlike and victorious
Through the ruins of the world
And, giving my words an active force,
I feel equal to the creator.

How about doing a bit of a review. It will allow you to slip Marx's real intentions.
I suspect that many bloody acts of terror or revolution was started by poetry, plays, or novels.
In *Terror and Liberalism,* Paul Berman specifically mentions the work of to Romantic era writers, Hugo Victor play *Hernani*, and Charles Baudelaire poem *Flowers of Evil*.
Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be; but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
Tragically, Marx felt it necessary "to recognize as the highest divinity, the human self-consciousness itself." He described his objective was "to dethrone God and destroy capitalism!" Lenin wrote, "Marxism cannot be conceived without atheism."
