There are various reports saying the Vermilion Oil Rig 380 off the coast of Louisiana has essentially exploded.  All of the 13 crew workers on board are accounted for, with one being flown to the hospital because of injuries. 

Coast Guard Petty Officer Bill Colclough told CNN that the rig is to believed to be on fire, but whether or not oil is leaking from the rig is still unknown.

Please pray that this is not another oil disaster in the Gulf region; a region which has already suffered so much this year from similar problems.
