(Manhattan Declaration) - In one of the most shameful displays of activism I have ever seen from an elected official, Senator Frank Lautenberg (D-NJ) stood before pro-life supporters as well as Planned Parenthood employees, state lawmakers and abortion activists, and belittled Tea Party Republicans and pro-lifers who do not want federal funding for abortion providers.

He said, as you can see in the video below, “They [Tea Party Republicans and the majority of Americans who don’t want their tax dollars funding Planned Parenthood] don’t deserve the freedoms in the Constitution, but we’ll give it to them anyway.”

Perhaps the Senator for NJ should remember that we are endowed by our Creator with certain unalienable rights. These rights are freedoms are not bestowed upon us by the charity of Congress.
