Dennis, That's an interesting question. A number of med. schools eviscerate the section of the Hippocratic Code that reads "first do no harm."

But what would the new code look like?

What's interesting is that before the Hippocratic Code it was dangerous to go see a doctor. A person not liking you could give the doctor some money and he would end your life.
The Code changed all that with the phrase "first do no harm".
Do we need a new Hippocratic Code?
