Introducing: The Point Radio By: Travis|Published: July 31, 2007 3:05 PM
While you may recognize my voice, you may not know I'm a father of six. And I know, only too well, the kind of issues confronting families today. I know how desperately Christian families need help navigating the maze of the cultural influences and keeping their faith not only intact but thriving. That's why today, I'm eager to tell you about a new one-minute radio program, launching in September, that will speak to those needs. It's called The Point. In just 60 seconds, I'll try to challenge listeners to think Christianly about the issues confronting them, to impact their culture and their communities, and to do it in a way that demonstrates the character of Jesus. I know all of you are active and busy, just like I am. But we also know how desperately Christians and their families need encouragement to live their faith out loud. When you tune into The Point, you'll be getting the tools you need to quickly assess the issues, defend the faith, and live the truth. And as you do, in turn, you will be better equipped to help a world in desperate need of the hope of the Gospel. And that's 60 seconds well spent. I'm Mark Earley, and that's The Point. Let your local radio station know that you're eager to hear The Point in your area and tune in this fall. |
