The Episcopal Church and the Episcopal Diocese of Virginia sued seven Anglican congregations in Virginia for their property. Despite the congregations having bought and paid for the property, I just found out that we lost the case.

While this lawsuit was over a property dispute, the case was about something much bigger. In the words of The Reverend John Yates, "The core issue for us is not physical property, but theological and moral truth and the intellectual integrity of faith in the modern world."

One additional item I would like to highlight is the tone of the message. Despite having lost, the people involved maintained a spirit of gratitude and thankfulness.
