Freedom and democracy are not possible in any nation that adheres to Sharia law, says Nonie Darwish in her new book,
The Devil We Don't Know: The Dark Side of Revolutions in the Middle East.
In her book, Darwish helps Westerners connect the dots between Sharia law and the inevitability of tyranny. She writes, "The reason Islamic revolutions end in failure is because sharia forbids freedom of speech and religion, as well as gender equality and religious equality, and will remove any ruler from office if he refuses to conduct jihad and advocates peace with non-Muslim nations."
In fact, any nation that fails to understand these points is in the crosshairs of faithful Jihadists.
