It has been pointed out on this website that Hollywood is a mission field. Well, Hollywood might have some important lessons for people, too -- even though it sometimes communicates them in very strange ways.
Karen Swallow Prior's review in Salvo of the television show American Horror Story has totally creeped me out. Be aware that the description of the show is difficult to stomach. But what's intriguing is that the story, at least for now, shows the horror of abortion and depravity. According to Prior, it's a truly horrifying show, and for some, its message is hitting too close to home.
And in a series built around shock value, the biggest shock of the season is the discovery that the heart of darkness is abortion. In fact, the show portrays abortion so horrifically, and the desire for children so passionately, that pro-choice bloggers have criticized it for promoting a pro-life agenda.
Well, I'll let you read her review, then let's discuss the bigger implications of depravity; even more importantly, let's talk about ways of creating positive changes in our families and neighborhoods.
