Let 'em run This week's Doonesbury will be about a Texas woman forced to get an ultrasound before an abortion. Blogger Jim Romenesko has a rundown of each day's strip. He also reports that some papers are pulling the strip this week. Personally, having read the descriptions, I think it might not be such a bad idea just to run it. Let people see for themselves how a passionate (one might even say virulent) commitment to the cause of abortion can warp a person's judgment, destroy his sense of humor, and make him into a shrill, over-the-top, propagandistic scold. |

And partisan attacks make me think "you're not paranoid when they really ARE out to get you." Now, where'd I leave my copy of "Liberal Fascism" - maybe the Brown Shirts confiscated it. (With guys like Trudeau constantly demonizing, it's only a matter of time, I figure, before condemnation gives way to constant "direct action" against all conservatives, great and small. But we'll get the last laugh. Sorta.)
