Of Christianity, celebrity, and art

Does it matter whether celebrities, and artists in general, are Christian? Branson Parler at Think Christian, in an interesting piece, looks at the complexities of the question. He acknowledges that "we need to be aware of the danger of celebrity worship or exalting anyone in the public eye," but points out that, for instance, Denzel Washington, as a man of faith, "recognizes the complexity of art in a fallen world.

Elsewhere, Disney/Pixar's Katherine Sarafian, producer of "Brave," talks about how her faith influences her work, including her ability to tell "a great, meaningful story."
