More Homosexuality = Less War

“If more men were homosexual,” says former Smith frontman Morrissey, “there would be no wars, because homosexual men would never kill other men. . . " Hmm -- except maybe the likes of Jeffery Dahmer, John Wayne Gacy, Wayne Williams, Nathan Leopold, and Richard Loeb, just to name a few that come immediately to mind.

Then again, perhaps the outspoken singer is on to something: If more men were homosexual, it would result in fewer people, and therefore less of everything else, including war.

Comments:

In any case weren't they making a fuss not so long ago about gays being allowed to join the military? If no gay would kill another man then by definition gays shouldn't be in the military.
Aside from that no one in war kills a man. They kill a uniform that they are reliably told contains a man inside. The Sacred Band(which was formed on the assumption that no gay man woould fail his lover) was only ordered to keep rolling forward until there was no one left to say "this is Sparta".
Not to mention the Theban Sacred Band.

But all this has the same flaw that "if women ruled the world there would be no war." War cannot be eliminated because the fewer warlike people there are the greater chance there is for those that remain.
