The Point: 328,348 Missing Feet

Can Planned Parenthood be defeated by socks? For the Colson Center, I’m John Stonestreet with The Point.

At a number of Holocaust museums around the world, including Washington, D.C. and Poland, visitors see shoes—hundreds of thousands, piled up as powerful visual reminders that help bring home the unspeakable scale of the atrocity in a way that words alone can’t.

Today, Students for Life is trying something similar. Throughout September, they’ll be traveling to cities around the U.S. with a truck filled with 328,348 baby socks. That’s the number of unborn children aborted by Planned Parenthood last year.

For all of that, Planned Parenthood received half a billion of tax-payer dollars. Students for Life president, Kristan Hawkins, says pro-lifers are tired of waiting for Congress to act. So they’re touring the nation with this visual reminder of the babies who aren’t here because of Planned Parenthood.

Join your voice with theirs. Contact your congressman or senator and tell them about this campaign. Remind them of the empty shoes at the Holocaust museum, and ask why we’re funding the organization behind a modern-day mass killing.
