Visit the Colson Center

If you haven’t done so yet, you need to visit the Colson Center for Christian Worldview online. Chuck Colson As I have taught for years, Christianity is an all-encompassing worldview. It causes us to see the world in a way that shapes the way we live in the world. It shapes the way we evangelize and the way we disciple others. And it shapes the way we fulfill the cultural commission—cultivating and employing  all the resources God has placed at our disposal for the sake of His creation. This is why just over a year ago we launched our new website:  the Colson Center for Christian Worldview. I am absolutely thrilled that many thousands of BreakPoint listeners have visited ColsonCenter.org. But for those of you who haven’t visited the site yet, I want to tell you exactly what you will find there—and what you will find in the future as the website grows. One area of the website that is getting a lot of attention is my weekly “Two Minute Warning” video commentary. We post a new one every week. These video commentaries allow me to let my hair down a little, so to speak, to dig deeper into a critical issue. And I also get to point you to related resources and people that have something important to say about things like religious freedom, traditional marriage, government spending, work, or a host of other hot topics. To keep you coming back for more every day, we have daily features by great Christian writers and daily Scripture passages with commentary from a worldview perspective. I strongly recommend that you sign up to receive the daily “ViewPoint” biblical commentaries by theologian T. M. Moore. I guarantee that T. M. will help you see and apply the Scriptures in ways you’ve never imagined. Honestly, I have worked with him for 25 years, and he is one of the brightest men I’ve ever known, an engaging biblical scholar. He has profoundly affected my own spiritual walk—and I know you’ll benefit under his teaching. And I really hope you’ll come to our online bookstore at Colson Center.org. We offer all of my books along with the greatest Christian worldview books available. We also have worldview curricula for schools and small groups, and very soon, you’ll be able to purchase what I think is a groundbreaking video series. It’s called “Doing the Right Thing.” Princeton’s Robby George, Britt Hume, and I, along with other leading thinkers make the case for a restoration of sound ethics in our society. This is great stuff, and it will be at the Colson Center bookstore very soon. Finally, the Colson Center is even more than a resource center for Christian worldview. It’s also as a portal to the larger renewal effort going on in the Church today. That’s why we provide and feature links to other Christian organizations that are doing so much to advance the Gospel and renew the faith and vitality of the Church. I hope that you can sense just a little of the excitement that I have about this new endeavor. It’s actually the second half of our ministry’s vision statement. The first, of course, is to evangelize the prisons and make the invisible Kingdom visible. The is the cultural transformation which is so desperately needed today. So please, join us at ColsonCenter.org. Visit the site today. And tell your friends and your family about it as well. It is my earnest prayer that God would use this new center for the transformation of the culture, for the renewal of His Church, all for the glory of His name.
